Location: Bay Shore, NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
On Call: None
Care Setting: Outpatient Imaging Center

Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Radiologic Technologist with Interventional and Special Procedures experience for a full-service outpatient imaging center in Suffolk County. This center is co-located with a cancer center and serves an adult patient population.

Scope of Services

The technologist will support interventional and fluoroscopy-guided procedures, including but not limited to:

• Mediport placement and removal

• PICC and midline insertions

• Tube changes

• Paracentesis and thoracentesis

• MSK fluoroscopy-guided steroid injections

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional and special procedure imaging using fluoroscopy

• Assist physicians during invasive and minimally invasive procedures

• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and radiation protection

• Prepare and maintain procedural rooms and equipment

• Accurately document procedures and patient information

• Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• New York State DOH Radiologic Technologist License required

• ARRT (R) certification required

• Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience (2+ years preferred)

• Interventional and special procedure experience with fluoroscopy required

• Experience working with an adult patient population
