Location: Manchester, CT
Assignment Length: 12 Weeks
Start Date: January 26, 2026
Shift: Evenings (PM)
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week

Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Labor & Delivery RN for an evening-shift assignment. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D nurse who can provide high-quality care to laboring and postpartum patients in an acute care setting.

Schedule & Requirements

PM shifts
8-hour shifts | 36 guaranteed hours per week
No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications and interventions per L&D protocols
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
Accurately document patient care in the EMR
Educate patients and families throughout the childbirth process

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- 2 years preferred
BLS Certification required
NRP Certification required
Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
Active RN license (Connecticut or compact, as applicable)
