Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 4 Weeks
Start Date: 02/02/2026
Shift: Days
Schedule: 8-hour shifts (varies)
Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours/week
Trauma Level: II
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a busy Women’s Health ambulatory clinic in the Bronx. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment ideal for a quick learner with strong communication and critical-thinking skills. First-time travelers will be considered.
Care Setting:
Acute / Ambulatory Women’s Health

22 exam rooms (3 rooms per suite)
-
10–13 providers per day (MDs, NPs, Midwives)
-
Approximately 200 patients per day
-
Two high-risk clinic days weekly (GDM, HTN)
Shift & Scheduling Details:
-
Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30a–4:00p
-
Shifts may include: 8:00–4:30, 8:30–5:00, 9:00–5:30
-
Tuesday evening clinic: 11:00a–8:30p (1 LPN)
-
No weekends, no holidays, no call
Responsibilities:
-
Float between medication area and clinic floor as needed
-
Intake and basic screenings
-
Point-of-care testing and lab/specimen collection
-
Assist with procedures including IUD placement/removal, TOPs, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, cervical screenings
-
Support OB and GYN patient care including postpartum BP/HTN management
-
No patient education responsibilities
Common Diagnoses/Services:

GYN annual screenings, PAPs, endometrial biopsies
-
IUDs, termination of pregnancy (TOP) clinic
-
OB follow-ups, postpartum care

Lab specimen collection
Requirements:
-
Active NY LPN/LVN license (required at submission)
-
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
-
BLS certification required
-
Phlebotomy experience preferred (high lab needs)

EMR: Allscripts
-
Must be comfortable in a high-volume clinic and floating as needed
