Nurse Manager – Ambulatory Surgery Center

A leading healthcare organization in Bergen County, NJ is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the daily clinical and operational functions of a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center.

This leadership position will oversee approximately 35 full-time employees in a multi-specialty surgical environment consisting of 6 Operating Rooms, 1 Procedure Room, and 13 Pre/Post-Operative Beds.

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing and support staff
• Manage daily operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards
• Support patient safety, quality initiatives, and performance improvement programs
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and administration
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, employee development, and operational planning

Must Have:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License - NJ 
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Previous Nurse Manager, Clinical Manager, or Surgical Services Leadership experience
• Ambulatory Surgery Center, Operating Room, Perioperative Services, or Surgical Services experience
• Strong leadership and staff management skills

Nice to Have:
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Union environment experience
• Experience overseeing multiple OR suites
• Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards for Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Compensation:
$90-$100 per hour

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:00 PM
No weekends
No holidays
