Experienced ICU/CCU RN Needed – 13-Week Travel Assignment
We are actively seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a respected acute-care hospital in Englewood, New Jersey.
This opportunity is designed for a seasoned critical-care nurse who is confident caring for high-acuity patients, responding to rapidly changing clinical conditions, and working independently within a fast-paced ICU/CCU environment.
A minimum of 4 years of ICU experience is required.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

Active and unrestricted New Jersey RN License

Minimum 4 years of ICU experience

Strong recent critical-care/acute hospital experience

Current BLS certification

Current ACLS certification
-
Comfortable working 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
The ICU/CCU RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
Responsibilities may include:

Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients
-
Continuously monitor hemodynamic and cardiac status
-
Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
-
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders
-
Manage complex critical-care patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
-
Interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical data
-
Respond appropriately during rapid-response and emergency situations
-
Collaborate closely with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapy, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-
Educate and communicate with patients and families regarding treatment and care
-
Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a highly experienced ICU nurse, not someone transitioning into critical care.
The ideal candidate has spent several years working independently with high-acuity ICU patients and can enter a travel assignment with minimal orientation and quickly become a productive member of the critical-care team.
Candidates with CCRN certification are especially encouraged to apply.
