HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Pathologists’ Assistant for a travel assignment in New Hyde Park, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work in a brand-new grossing room with advanced technology and exposure to a wide variety of complex specimens across all subspecialties.


<h3>Position Details:</h3>

	Start Date: 04/06/2026
	
	</li><li>
	Duration: 13 weeks
	
	</li><li>
	Shift: Days – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
	
	</li><li>
	Schedule: Monday–Friday with alternating weekends
	
	</li><li>
	On-Call: None
	
</li></ul>


<h3>Requirements:</h3>

<ul>
	<li>
	Active NYS License as a Pathologists’ Assistant
	
	</li><li>
	ASCP Certification required
	
	</li><li>
	Preferred: Experience with complex cancer specimens
	
</li></ul>

	Brand-new grossing room with 10 stations and natural lighting
	
	</li><li>
	Exakt bone saw
	
	</li><li>
	Opportunity to gross a broad or narrow range of biopsies and complex specimens
	
	</li><li>
	Approx. 40,000 cases annually across multiple subspecialties:

	<ul>
		<li>
		Breast, GI, GU, Head &amp; Neck, Pediatric, Bone, and Soft Tissue
		
	</li></ul>
	
	</li><li>
	Voicebrook dictation system utilized
	
	</li><li>
	Work includes both adult and pediatric cases
	
</li></ul>
