Shift: Days | Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview:
The Pathology Assistant provides high-quality anatomic pathology support with a strong focus on accurate gross examination, specimen processing, and regulatory compliance. This role requires advanced technical expertise, attention to detail, and flexibility to support operations across multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform gross examination and dissection of all specimen types

• Accurately describe, measure, and document specimens

• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and chain of custody

• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, TJC, and OSHA standards

• Assist with quality assurance and laboratory workflow efficiency

• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to support timely diagnoses

• Float between campuses as operational needs require

Requirements:

• PA (ASCP) certification

• Minimum 5 years of Pathology Assistant experience

• Demonstrated ability to gross all specimen types independently

• Strong knowledge of regulatory and safety standards

• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

• Flexibility to float between campuses as needed
