Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Manchester, CT | 12-Week Assignment | Start ASAP

We are seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment in a busy operating room setting. This role is ideal for a skilled perioperative nurse comfortable with both scheduled shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Position Details:

Location: Manchester, CT
Duration: 12 weeks
Schedule: Days, 5x8s
Shift Length: 8 hours
Hours: 36–40 hours per week

Call Requirements:

One 24-hour weekend call shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) every 4 weeks
One weekday call shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) every other week

Responsibilities:

Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical environment
Assist surgeons during procedures
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Adhere to all OR protocols, policies, and safety standards

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
Active RN license required
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
Ability to take call and respond as needed
