Description
We're looking for Anesthesia Technicians for an immediate travel opening in Washington, DC.
The right Anesthesia Technician should have 1 year of experience. Read below for more requirements.
As an Anesthesia Technician, you will assist anesthesia providers in the preparation, maintenance, and support of anesthesia equipment and supplies in surgical and procedural settings. Youll play a critical role in supporting safe and effective anesthesia care for patients before, during, and after procedures.
As an Anesthesia Technician, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
- Assist anesthesia providers with patient setup and equipment troubleshooting
- Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment and anesthesia machines
- Ensure availability of emergency airway and resuscitation equipment
- Clean, sterilize, and restock anesthesia carts and trays
- Transport and dispose of used equipment and supplies in a safe manner
- Maintain proper documentation of equipment checks, usage, and maintenance
- Support compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Provide intraoperative assistance to anesthesia providers as needed
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and hold the Cer.A.T.T National Certification. State-specific licensing when required.
Anesthesia Technicians should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, lift and move equipment, and respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
Requirements*: ASATT (Cer A T T), BLS, 1 Year
* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
