Surgical Tech - Travel

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied - Travel

Job Description

Assist in the care of surgical patients during procedures.
Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
Understand the surgical procedure and anticipate the surgeon’s needs.
Ensure quality patient care and maintain the sterile field throughout the operation.
Follow instructions from Physicians and RNs, adhering to hospital policies related to the Operating Room.
Maintain a safe environment by practicing Standard Precautions and complying with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

Certified Surgical Technician required.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Must tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking.
