Key Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hospital acute care experience (required)
• Current RN License (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Dysrhythmia Certification (required)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and systematic patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric)
• Deliver competent clinical nursing care, including emergency procedures and use of emergency equipment
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing processes, patient progress, and education
• Uphold professional practice standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Promote patient and family-centered care with professionalism and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including patient identification protocols and safe transfer techniques
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical patient care, anesthesia types, and related procedures
• Prioritize and direct patient care based on patient needs and condition changes
• Provide pre-operative and postoperative patient education and assessments
• Support timely completion and evaluation of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders

Contract Length

• 52 weeks (approximately 1 year)

• As defined by Occupational Safety/OMS standards
