Job Opportunity: RN - Intensive/Critical Care (ICU)

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Intensive/Critical Care, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care. You will focus on quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and support a financially stable unit. The RN role includes supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, applying evidence-based practice, and mentoring/precepting team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, making sound independent decisions.
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
• Provide and evaluate education tailored to patient and family needs during the stay and at discharge.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor/preceptor.
• Promote teamwork and communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards.
• Engage in the Practice Governance model.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience.
