Vascular Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Morristown, New Jersey

Job Description

• Care for adult and geriatric patients during procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations.
• Report clinical changes in patient condition to RN or physician.
• Contact NP, PA, or MD with STAT results and/or abnormal findings.
• Document all procedures accurately, including labeling and identifying studies, recording procedure-related information in medical records, and entering charges.
• Perform related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions, assisting others, completing special assignments, cleaning work area, and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain all standards of performance with sterile procedures and infection prevention.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) technical skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular Technologist (preferred).
• Must be able to take call.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
• Licensure/Certifications: RVT/RVS preferred. BLS required.
• Demonstrates standards of performance including ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion, supporting patient satisfaction and service excellence principles.

Contract Length

• 8 weeks (interpreted as weeks since 8 falls between 4 and 40)
