Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - HTP Preop/PACU
Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Contract Length: 11 weeks
Job Summary
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
- Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice and support innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op experience, including experience within the last year.
- Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience.
- Telemetry experience.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Certifications & Licensure
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
