Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
Ensure documentation accurately reflects patient assessments, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical interventions, and evaluations of patient responses.
Assign and evaluate the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Certifications & Licensure

Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred

Experience & Skills

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to develop effective nursing care plans
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel

Additional Information

No prior travel experience required
Focus on surgical patient care in the operating room setting
