Cardiovascular Technologist II

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients under general to limited supervision. Support medical staff in diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex cardiovascular conditions using advanced imaging equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
• Perform a range of diagnostic, interventional, and surgical imaging procedures within scope of practice guidelines.
• Conduct post-procedure reviews independently to ensure completeness and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
• Transfer images and data to archival systems, enter technical findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of equipment following manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research to maintain competencies and improve care.
• Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to less experienced team members.
• Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Associate’s degree or higher, or completion of a Paramedic training program.

Certifications & Licensure

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oklahoma.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) certification or Paramedic certification.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience with STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart cases.
• Travel experience.
