Job Description
- Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of a mentor/preceptor.
- Provides specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
- Supports medical staff in diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions.
- Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
- Uses specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.
- Conducts post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation and technical quality meet protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfers images and data to archival systems and prepares studies for physician reporting.
- Performs operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participates in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist, with experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
