X-Ray Technician Travel Position - New Jersey

Job Overview

• Perform imaging and treatment processes following state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and monitor for necessary revisions.
• Must be comfortable working in the Operating Room (OR).
• Work schedule: 10 AM to 6 PM, including every other weekend and on-call shifts.
• Facility size: 900 beds; requires ability to work independently.

• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in New Jersey
• Radiology Technologist with at least 1.5 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Minimum of 18 months total travel experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Technician
• Experience with GE Healthcare imaging equipment
• ARRT certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of various imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Up-to-date with clinical practice trends, healthcare informatics, and new hardware/software technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (oral and written).

Work Hours

• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Shift: AM (10 AM - 6 PM)
