Physical Therapist - Travel Position

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide patient evaluation, establish plans of care and treatment programs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and patient/family education.
• Document interventions and handle billing appropriately.
• Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and serve as a clinical instructor for students.
• Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute care within a large academic medical setting.
• Board Certification as a Specialist in an area relevant to acute care.
• Previous successful clinical affiliation with the employer (preferred but not required).
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Home health experience is a plus.

Additional Information

• Orientation will be held onsite in Morristown, NJ.
• Support provided for the Morris County region.
