Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (Travel)
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel, Full-time
Shift: PM (7p - 7a)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative healthcare environment. The role emphasizes professionalism, respect, involvement, dignity, and excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team through Shared Governance to promote evidence-based care.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills.
- Uphold core values of professionalism, respect, involvement, dignity, and excellence in all job aspects.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
