Description
Respiratory Therapist Travel Job - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Job Summary
- Perform respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
- Provide therapeutic treatment and diagnostic testing using medical gases, equipment, environmental control systems, humidification, and aerosols.
- Administer medications related to the cardiopulmonary system.
- Manage ventilatory support and life support systems.
- Perform bronchopulmonary clearance and breathing exercises.
- Educate patients and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Maintain natural and artificial airways.
- Work in both critical care and non-critical care areas, treating patients of all ages.
- Follow established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Contract Length
- Approximately 14 weeks.
Schedule
- Night shift (3rd shift): 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:00–06:30).
- Weekend rotation required.
- Total 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital respiratory care experience, including critical care experience within the last year.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
