RN NICU - Oklahoma City, OK
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex under general supervision.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; note changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
- Administer medications and regulate intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans to patients and families.
- Inform patients and families about hospital procedures and make referrals for patient care needs.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
- Minimum 1 year of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Advanced NRP certification.

- Shift: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Hours per day: 12
- Hours per week: 36
