Job Summary

• Provide nursing care to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex under general supervision.
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; note changes in physician orders.
• Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
• Administer medications and regulate intravenous infusions and blood products.
• Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans to patients and families.
• Inform patients and families about hospital procedures and make referrals for patient care needs.
• Delegate tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
• Minimum 1 year of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Advanced NRP certification.

• Shift: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Hours per day: 12
• Hours per week: 36

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
