Job Summary

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Emergency Department for patients of all ages.
• Handle a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
• Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions.
• Prioritize injuries and medical needs effectively.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
• Recent ED experience within the last year.
• Telemetry experience.
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

• This is a new position (not a backfill).
• Scrub color: Navy blue.

No prior travel experience is required for this position.
