Description

MRI Technician Travel Opportunity

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Allied Health (Clinical)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position patients on examining table and place specified coils (e.g., head or knee coil) near area of interest following Radiologist protocols
Use microphone system to communicate with patients during examination
Enter patient history, scan area, orientation, and entry position data into MRI computer system
Operate key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers
Monitor patient safety and comfort through control room window and closed-circuit TV
Review scan images on video display to ensure quality
Photograph images using camera keyboard
Alert staff about metal hazards in magnet room
Perform other assigned duties

Schedule

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience
Experience as an MRI Technologist within the last year
MR Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
