Surgical Tech - Travel

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel (Allied Health)

Hours: 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Assist in the care of surgical patients during operative procedures.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
• Understand the surgical procedure and anticipate the surgeon’s needs.
• Ensure quality patient care and maintain the sterile field throughout the operation.
• Follow instructions from Physicians and RNs, adhering to established operating room policies.
• Practice Standard Precautions at all times to maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with hospital policies and regulatory agency standards for safety.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist within the last year.
• High School Graduate or GED.
