RN Med Surg
Location
- Edmond, Oklahoma
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Overview
- Hospital-based registered nurse role providing care to patients with a range of health problems.
- Core duties include patient assessment and monitoring, medication administration, IV infusions and blood products, documentation, assisting with examinations and minor procedures, patient/family education, and delegation to support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Skills
- Professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Some computer skills

- Trauma and travel required
