Description

Registered Nurse

Location

Hackensack, New Jersey

Schedule

  • 3x12 shifts, 36 hours per week
  • 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • No weekends or holidays unless on-call
  • On-call required

Assignment Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Jersey
  • Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Cath Lab experience
  • Experience functioning as an intra-procedural RN responsible for documentation, medication administration, and circulator duties for minimally invasive procedures such as LHC and PCI
  • Willingness to cover on-call for cardiac catheterization lab procedures off hours and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Critical care experience
  • Experience with EPIC and Sensis
  • Experience with IABP, Impella, shockwave, and other atherectomy devices
  • Vascular and/or neuro diagnostic and intervention experience
  • BSN

  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
  • Assess patient needs and prioritize care
  • Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
  • Manage patient care

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
