RN MedSurg/Telemetry

Location

Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Contract

13 weeks
Full-time, 3x12 schedule
7a–7p
Weekend and holiday rotation

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient/family education, and care coordination.
Uses the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to support patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nursing experience
BSN

Key Skills

Clear, respectful verbal and written communication
Collaboration with the care team
Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
Ability to use computer systems and applications or be trained

Work Environment

Unit-based nursing role with participation in quality improvement activities and core measures

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
