Description

RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult

Location

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No weekends
  • No holidays

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Oncology (1 year of experience)
  • Oncology experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ONS/ONCC
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Infusion experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, chemotherapy, intravenous infusions, and blood products
  • Provide patient and family education related to chemotherapy and clinic procedures
  • Monitor patient status and physiological data, and intervene as needed
  • Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic or treatment procedures
  • Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
  • Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and post-visit phone calls
  • Delegate tasks to support staff and communicate care plans with patients and families

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
