RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult
Location
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekends
- No holidays
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Infusion experience
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications, chemotherapy, intravenous infusions, and blood products
- Provide patient and family education related to chemotherapy and clinic procedures
- Monitor patient status and physiological data, and intervene as needed
- Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic or treatment procedures
- Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
- Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and post-visit phone calls
- Delegate tasks to support staff and communicate care plans with patients and families
