Description
Radiation Therapist
Location
- Hackettstown, New Jersey
Schedule
- Day shift
- Monday through Friday
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Contract Length
- 8 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in New Jersey
- Radiation Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- ARRT
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments and operate treatment units
- Perform daily and monthly linac and CT QA
- Perform IGRT, SBRT, portal imaging, CT simulation, respiratory gating, and ACQ simulation
- Construct immobilization devices and electron/cerrobend blocks as needed
- Maintain treatment records and verify patient, prescription, and setup information
- Follow department policies, safety standards, and radiation protection procedures
- Support chart rounds, treatment planning verification, and documentation workflows
