RN - Cath Lab - Travel
Location
- Morristown, New Jersey
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Travel assignment
- Full-time day shift
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 3 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Strong IV insertion skills
- Ability to access implanted chest ports
- Telemetry experience
- Interventional Radiology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Clinical Experience / Skills
- 3–5 years of cardiac telemetry monitoring and/or cardiac imaging experience
- 3–5 years of radiology outpatient or interventional radiology imaging experience
- Strong IV insertion skills
- Ability to access implanted chest ports
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-procedural assessments
- Administer and titrate medications per protocol
- Establish and maintain IV access for contrast administration
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Provide patient education and support informed consent
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Respond to emergencies and contrast reactions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support quality improvement and maintain competency in cardiac imaging and contrast safety
