Description

RN - OR - Travel

Overview

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Schedule: 12-hour day shift
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR certification
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments across the lifespan
Provide direct perioperative nursing care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow patient safety protocols and universal precautions
Support surgical patient care, including procedure- and anesthesia-specific needs
Direct and prioritize patient care based on changing patient condition
Complete pre-operative and postoperative assessments and patient education
Support Pre Admission Testing evaluation and order review

Additional Role Details

Must be able to scrub and circulate on robotics, orthopedics, neurology, and general surgery

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
