Description

Mammography Technologist

Location

Red Bank, New Jersey

Schedule

Day shift
40 hours per week
4x10 or 5x8 schedule
Weekend work required as needed
Holiday and on-call coverage not required
Float coverage not required

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Mammography Technologist license in New Jersey
3 years of Mammography Technologist experience
Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology

Key Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammographic examinations
Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiology-guided breast procedures
Support quality control and quality assurance documentation for mammography
Provide patient education and procedure instructions
Prepare imaging cases and maintain related documentation and statistics

Preferred Experience

Experience with stereotactic breast biopsy
Experience with bone density
Strong interpersonal patient care skills

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
