Job Summary
- Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process and following professional standards and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Completes nursing database and care plan, reports findings to physician.
- Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely and efficiently.
- Defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior early when possible.
- Identifies patient learning needs and provides education.
- Uses delegation appropriately.
- Follows annual training and the nurse practice act.
