Description
Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech
Location
- Bricktown, New Jersey
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- 10 hours per day
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital
- Minimum 1 year required in Cardiac Cath
- Six to 12 months during CVT accredited program or 2 years in another cardiac vascular laboratory
- Usage of Impella and ballon pump required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile operative techniques
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platform
Preferred Qualifications
- Permanent pacemaker placement experience
- Mac lab experience
- EPIC familiarity
Role Summary
- Assists physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement
- Assists with circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella
