Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech CWR

Role Overview

Cardiovascular Technologist in a cath lab setting. The role assists physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement, and supports circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience.
• Two years prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital.
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program or graduate of an applied science program.
• Experience with manifold system.
• Scrub assist and table-side experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile operative techniques.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of employment.
• Within 1 year of hire, must have successfully passed RCIS exam given by CCI or hold a Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification with Cath Lab experience.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a health science field.
• Licensed special procedures Radiologic Technologist.

Schedule

• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 4 x 10
• Weekends required
• Holidays required
• On-call required

• No float requirement.
• Scrubs provided.
