RN Cardiac Cath / Prep Recovery

Overview

Role: Registered Nurse in Cardiac Cath / Prep Recovery
Specialty/Unit: CATH LAB
Location: Bricktown, New Jersey
Shift: Day
Hours per week: 40
Contract length: 9 weeks

Required Qualifications

License: New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, Telemetry
Education: ASN
Experience: 2 years of experience
Required skills: Circulating nurse, EPIC, Mac-LAB, Impella, balloon Pump, PCI, Right heart cath, Left Heart Cath
Required soft skills / experience: Circulation during pacer insertion experience, Pulmonary Embolism case experience, EP experience

Preferred Qualifications

Education: BSN
Experience: 2 years preferred
Preferred skills / experience: Critical care experience, prior experience with EPIC and Sensis

Schedule / Assignment Details

Weekend requirement: On call requirement / 1 weekend month
Holiday requirement: 1 summer and 1 winter shift of call
On-call requirement: Yes, 4 weekdays and one weekend Friday-Sunday
Float requirement: No
Scrub color: Provided by the hospital

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
