Description

Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
  • Prepare and position patients; select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform specialized imaging procedures including angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
  • Assist Radiologist/PA as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.

Required Health & Immunization Documentation

  • Influenza vaccine or exemption/declination (mask required if declined during flu season).
  • MMR: documented proof of two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted.
  • Varicella: documented proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history; no declinations accepted.
  • Tdap: valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite).
  • 2-step PPD or IGRA testing for TB with annual updates; if positive, chest X-ray and TB questionnaire required.
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
  • 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID (must not be expired and address must match requirements).
  • Professional references (at least two) prior to first assignment.
  • Badge photo (headshot with white or blue background, no alterations).

Notes

  • Flu season runs October 1 through March 31; mask required if vaccine declined.
  • Multiple onboarding modules and attestations required prior to start.
