Job Opportunity: RN - Med/Surg Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Schedule: 36 or 48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Easter shift required

Required Specialty Experience

Required Licenses and Certifications

Required Qualifications and Compliance

• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics) completed within a year of start, updated every 3 years, minimum 80% passing score
• Ascension EKG Exam with passing score of at least 80%, updated every 3 years
• Ascension Color Vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
• Ascension NIH Certification updated yearly or every 2 years depending on group
• Ascension Cerner Test-Out completed prior to start
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Ascension Education Verification within 90 days of start
• Ascension Employment Verification covering past 7 years, updated annually
• Ascension Confirmation of Assignment documentation required
• Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• EPLS check within 90 days prior to start, rerun if break in service > 90 days
• Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Driver’s License/State ID valid and matching address requirements
• Ascension Badge Photo (headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)

Immunizations and Health Requirements

• MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
• Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
• Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted
• Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
• TB Testing: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within a year, and annual TB questionnaire; 2-step PPD or IGRA within 90 days prior to start
