Description

Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)


Job Description

  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Provide quality images for radiologists and physicians to interpret.
  • Shift start time varies between 7:00-8:00 AM, end time between 3:30-4:30 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Indiana.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year.

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

  • Professional resume/profile submission required.
  • Two professional references required prior to first assignment.
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others completed within 30 days prior to start.
  • Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start.
  • Health and immunization requirements including:
    • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
    • Varicella (two vaccines or immunity evidence, no declinations accepted)
    • Tdap (valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
    • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
    • TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA, chest X-ray if positive, annual questionnaire)
    • Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
  • Completion of core competencies and skills checklist related to specialty within one year, updated every three years or annually as specified.
  • Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations).
  • Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and match address on file).

Additional Notes

  • Some onboarding forms and attestations are completed onsite or uploaded by the facility after start.
  • Compliance documents must be kept current and updated annually or as required.
  • Passing scores on competency assessments are required with limited attempts allowed.
