Job Opportunity: Surgical Technologist - CVOR

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Details

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• On-call duties shared equally among team members
• Required to work any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift
• Specialty: Certified Surgical Technician in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Experience as a CVOR Technologist within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
• Valid license or certification verification as applicable for Surgical Technologist
• Completion of required onboarding education and competency attestations prior to start
• Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (mask required if declined)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA with annual updates)
• Fit testing for respiratory protection (annual requirement)
• Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Professional references (minimum two) and employment verification for past seven years
• Criminal background check including social security trace and national searches
• Driver’s license or state ID matching address on file (must be current)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of core competencies related to HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty-specific skills
• Health statement or physical exam confirming good health prior to assignment and updated annually
• Recent education verification relevant to clinical work
• Submission of a professional resume/profile and signed assignment agreement
• Headshot photo for badge identification (white or blue background, no filters)

Experience
