Job Opportunity: Cath Lab RN
Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, weekdays
Additional Requirements: Weeknight and weekend call required
Job Description
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role involves providing nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures and related patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience (minimum 2 years)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Contract Details
- Length: Approximately 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, weekdays with additional on-call responsibilities during weeknights and weekends
Important Notes
- Candidates must complete all required credential verifications and health screenings prior to start.
- Specialty competency exams must be passed with a minimum score of 80%.
- Ongoing annual updates and renewals of certifications and health requirements are mandatory.
- This role requires flexibility for call shifts outside regular hours.
