Job Opportunity: Radiation Technician

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 8-hour night shifts, every other weekend
Work Areas: Inpatient (IP), Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Description

Provide ARRT-certified Radiation Technician coverage across multiple hospital departments including IP, ER, OR, and ICU during night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Kansas
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Health and Safety Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at start of assignment)

• Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive immunity titer (no declinations accepted)
• Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Influenza vaccine during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
• TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test, chest X-ray if positive, and annual TB questionnaire
• Varicella immunity proof or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

Documentation and Onboarding Requirements

• Professional resume/profile
• Two professional references
• Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, and national sex offender registry
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• Education verification relevant to clinical work
• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documentation
• Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and address verified)
• Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• The assignment is a long-term contract of approximately 13 weeks.
• Night shift coverage with every other weekend work is required.
