Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Oklahoma, Bartlesville

Job Summary

• Provide direct patient care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; record and communicate patient condition.
• Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician with current NBSTSA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of specialty competency exams and core competencies with minimum passing scores.
• Compliance with all required professional credentials, including:

  • Resume/Profile submission.
  • Two professional references.
  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, and National Sex Offender registry.
  • Employment and education verifications.
• Health and immunization requirements:

  • MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive immunity titer; no declinations accepted.
  • Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or verified history; no declinations accepted.
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
  • Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination.
  • Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season; declinations accepted with mask requirement.
  • Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA testing, chest X-ray if positive, and annual TB questionnaire.
• Fit testing for respiratory protection required annually.
• Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to assignment start and annually thereafter.
• Completion of onboarding education attestation modules specific to surgical technologists.
• Submission of a forward-facing badge photo with specified background.
• Valid, unexpired driver’s license or state ID matching address on file.
