Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Pensacola, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule & Requirements

• 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend coverage required
• On-call duties for STEMI, PE, ECMO cases
• Holiday coverage required for Memorial Day and July 4th

Required Credentials & Certifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• RT(R) or RCIS certification

Health & Compliance Requirements

• MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive titer (no declinations accepted)
• Fit Test: Required prior to or at start (annual update required)
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Varicella: Proof of immunity or two vaccines (no declinations accepted)
• Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA testing with annual TB questionnaire updates
• Health Statement or physical exam prior to assignment and annually thereafter
• 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Professional resume/profile
• At least two professional references
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others within 30 days of assignment start
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
• Completion of core competencies and skills checklist related to specialty (updated annually)
• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documentation
• Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background)
• Various compliance attestations and onboarding education

Experience & License Requirements

• Specialty: Cath Lab Technician
• Required Certification: RT(R) or RCIS
• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Prior travel experience: Not required

Summary

This is a long-term Cath Lab Technician position requiring certification as RT(R) or RCIS, with on-call and holiday coverage responsibilities.
