Radiology Technologist

Location: Kyle, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging to produce high-quality radiologic films supporting accurate diagnosis and patient care.
• Prepare and position patients, select exposure factors, and administer contrast media within scope.
• Apply radiation safety standards and monitor patients during exams, reporting abnormalities promptly.
• Submit complete, accurate images and clinical documentation to PACS.
• Monitor imaging equipment performance, report malfunctions, and maintain a clean, organized radiology department.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Texas.
• Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training with signature).
• Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually.
• Confirmation of assignment documentation required upon initial assignment and each extension.

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
• Contract length is interpreted as 13 weeks.
• Telemetry (Tele) is not applicable to this role.
