Job Opportunity: Operating Room RN Circulator - Pediatrics
Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
Job Description
- Provide professional nursing care in the operative setting for pediatric patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
- Perform circulating nurse functions: monitor, record, and communicate patient condition; manage overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Emergency Pediatric Life Support (EPLS) certification
