Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown (Day Shift)

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Job Description

• Care for surgical patient population with telemetry monitoring.
• Must have prior LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) experience and certification.
• Extensive experience with telemetry patients required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana.
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Stepdown nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Prior LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) experience.
• Telemetry experience.

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Completion of onboarding education attestation and nursing contract worker onboarding.
• Submission of a forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations).
• Health statement or physical exam completed prior to first assignment and updated annually.
• Confirmation of assignment documentation upon initial assignment and each extension.
• Annual updates and re-verifications required for many credentials and screenings.

Experience

• Must have extensive experience with surgical and telemetry patient populations.
