Job Opportunity: RN Step Down (Neuro) - Days

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week with holiday rotation

Job Description

• Registered Nurse for Neuro Step Down unit
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (both AHA approved), NIH Certification
• Work schedule includes holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Minimum of 1 year of Stepdown nursing experience, with recent Stepdown experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in neurology nursing

Additional Information

• Driver’s license or state ID must be current, show front and back, and address must match records
• Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leader within one week of start
• Hiring manager evaluation and legal name change documentation are optional
