Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (PCU)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend, no call required
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Cerner OneChart
Uniform: Blue scrubs

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
Utilize Cerner OneChart for documentation and patient care management.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with PCU experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training.
Ascension EKG Exam certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leader within one week of start.
Confirmation of assignment and updates required upon extensions.
Hiring manager evaluation and name change documentation are optional.
